Do you have to pierce me daily because you stand confident in my love for you
Do you have to bruise me with your unfaithful ways because I will be faithful anyway
Is it so hard to love me
Is it so hard to give your all to me
With all of me I love, I cherish you
Yet you treat me so
You neglect and ignore me
But remember me in your time of need
You easily give yourself to the ruins of the world for the temporary pleasures it provides
You show no regard for the holes on my hands and feet
The mark of your freedom and redemption from sin
I love you, oh how I love you
You are encumbered in the deceit of the world
You chase after earthly lusts and pleasures
Losing your soul in the process
The thirst of your flesh keeps you seeking but you find no rest
I am the river of life, the everlasting source
Come to me and you will thirst no more
But for how long will you be slaves to sin
You can’t serve two masters
Sin leaves you broken
But in me you are whole
Sin has you bound
But in me you are free indeed
If only you would give yourself to me
Resources will run dry
Human strength will fail you
But I am THE source
Everything you need is embedded within my love
I am the giver of life
Yet you tango with death
Giving your bodies and souls to lusts of sin
At the door of your heart
I stand knocking
My hand outstretched to you
You are never too far to be reached
Never too deep to be rescued
All the way to calvary I went for you
My grace is sufficient
Come to me
Find rest
Find freedom
Find redemption
Find life
My love is enough
